Dr. Elise Park, MD 

Elisse Park, M.D. is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who practices all aspects of ophthalmic care including the evaluation and management of cataract, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other conditions.
Dr. Park performs cataract surgery, glaucoma laser surgery, yag capsulotomy, intravitreal injections, and other procedures.

Dr. Park graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Art History from Georgetown University and was among a select group of students admitted to Georgetown’s medical school during her second year through the Early Assurance Program. She then graduated from medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine. After completing an internal medicine internship at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Morningside in New York, Dr. Park completed her ophthalmology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Virginia. During her residency, Dr. Park regularly presented at the Department of Ophthalmology Grand Rounds and Journal Club conferences and was awarded the Resident Research Award. She has been published in several academic journals including Retina Today and American Journal of Stem Cells. Dr. Park is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology
